What sizes are the storage buildings?
Our portable storage buildings are 8' x 12.5' and 10' x 16.5'. Both come with a 6' x 6' roll-up door.
Do the self-storage buildings have a floor?
Yes, each portable storage building has 3/4" treated plywood floor that sits on 14 gauge, 4" C-Purlin floor joists. Your valuables sit almost 5" off the ground.
How do I prepare my ground prior to delivery?
No foundation is required. Our storage buildings can be set on any flat, level surface. (Customer is responsible for preparation prior to delivery)
What is the lead time for delivery?
It is good to plan 2 to 4 days in advance for delivery, but in many cases we can have a building to you faster!
Are there restrictions when delivering a My Storage building?
Our boom truck has the capability of setting a building up to 26 feet away from the truck itself. We have the ability to deliver over fences and cinder block walls. Low utility lines and trees may interfere with delivery. Please contact our office with questions.
Do I need to take down my fence?
Rarely. Our storage buildings come on a truck with a crane. We attach the crane to the top of the building and pick the building up and over your fence. The only restriction is that we need 14' of clearance above the top of your fence to do this. If we do not have 14' of clearance above the fence, the fence will need to be taken down. (If you are still not sure, call us and we can send a representative by to do a site visit for a fee of $25)
What happens if I need to move?
We can move the storage building to your new home for you for a small moving fee. Contact My Storage for more details. 1-866-374-3348
Are all buildings the same color?
Yes, all of our building are the same color. This keeps building cost down and provides our customers with the most competitive prices on the market for the quality product you receive.
What is the monthly cost of a building?
